Installing MSM & Data Back up
Installing
MSMInstallation
Before installing MSM
please make sure you have taken backup of all the contacts and
important data on memory card / any other safe place.
To function smoothly MSM
require minimum 5 MB free space in the phone memory.
MSM :
Once user downloads and
installs MSM to his mobile, the application will launch itself for
the first time.
By default application
will install itself in Phone memory, it cannot be installed MMC. To
perform smoothly MSM require at least 3 to 5 MB of memory free on the
device.
Data backup
During the installation
of MSM & Data backup application will also get installed.
Data back up application
will be visible in Regular applications menu. Using Data back up user
can take a back up of Contacts, images, videos on remote server and
retrieve whenever required.
By default Data back up
application will coe up with 10MB space limit per user.

Add Reporting Contact Number
Reporting Contact number
can be any other mobile number on which user want to receive all the
reports related to his Lost/Stolen phone.
User can add multiple
Reporting contact number.
User can add Reporting
contact number from Phone book within application.
MSM will accept and
respond to commands received from Reporting Contact Number.

SMS Commands
MSM will accept commands
received from reporting contact only. All the commands should start
with MSM
For example if user want
to hang the stolen phone using sms command he has to send sms MSM
hangfrom reporting contact to stolen device.

MSM activate
: To activate theft/stolen mode without changing SIM.
Encrypts
phone book, messages, images.
Starts
reporting of all the activities like calls made, received,

Spy call mode.
MSM track :
Starts reporting of all the activities like calls made,

Spy call mode. This command can be used for Parental Control
MSM contact=all :
Sends all the
contacts stored in the Phone book of
Stolen/lost phone.
MSM contact=individualcontact : Sends particular contact stored in
the Phone book of Stolen/lost phone.
MSMlocation :
Sends IMEI, IMSI, Area code, Cell ID, Operator Name, Country
code.
MSM hang : Plays
loud siren, disables the phone completely, displays pre defined
message.
MSM unlock :
Stops Sien & brings back phone to normal mode
MSM deactivate :
Deactivates MSM completely.
MSM delete=all :
wipes all the from the stolen device permanently.

Launching Customizing MSM
MSM works
in hidden mode. Application is not visible in the
application menu. To launch MSM user has to press pre defined short
keys *123* & password ajt. To customise go to
settings
5.1 Settings : General
Settings
a. Switch On MSM :
(Select YES/NO)
If Switch on MSM
is marked Yes then MSM will function actively on SIM change,
Activate & Track commands.
If Switch on MSM is
marked NO then MSM will not function at all even if the SIM is
changed.
b. SMS text to switch
on MSM: ( User INPUT )
By default SMS command to
activate MSM is Activate This command will turn on all the
functions of MSM even if SIM is not change and take your phone to
Theft/Stolen mode.
User can define his own
SMS command to activate MSM without changing the SIM. User has to
send this command from Reporting Contact number.
MSM will respond to the
commands received from Reporting Device only.
C. Lock # Key (Select
Yes/NO)
By default Lock # key
is YES. This feature will Deactivate from your
handset keypad. So that your handset will be protected from basic
level formatting which uses # key.
If Lock # key is Set to No then user will be able to operate key as usual.
D. Change Password
(User Input)
Default password is ajt.
using this field user can change default password as per his choice.
Password can be Alpha Numeric. Max length of the password can be 09.
E. Change MSM hot keys
: (User Input)
Default hot keys to
launch MSM is *123* Using this field user can change hot key
combination. Max Hot key length can be 09. Hot keys combination has
to be Numeric only.
(By default Hot key
combination starts & ends with *. While changing hot key
combination user need not to write *)
If user changes hot keys
from 123 to 567, to launch application with new key combination user
has press *567*.
5.2 Settings : Attack
Setting
A.
Change Attack screen txt (User Input)
User can edit the Text
using this field. User can add his Name, Address, Alternate No, Award
Amount. Whenever application receives msm ½ message
it will play loud siren and disable the phone completely &
display pre defined screen along with the above added details.
B.
Activate Spy Call (Yes/No)
In the Theft/Stolen mode
if Application receives call from reporting number it will be termed
as Spy call. Spy call will turn on the loud speaker/Mic. On the
stolen phone Thief will receive any notification or ring of this spy
call. User on reporting contact side can listen what thief is talking
in his near vicinity.
If this field is set to No Spy call will not function and it will receive as Normal
call.
C. Respond to SMS
commands (Yes/No)
By default this field is
set to Yes. Application will accept commands from reporting
contact and respond to it as specified. If this Filed set to No
Application will not respond to any sms command even if those
commands received from Reporting number.
D. Respond to SMS
commands (Yes/No)
By default this field is
set to Yes. Application will accept commands from reporting
contact and respond to it as specified. If this Filed set to No
Application will not respond to any sms command even if those
commands received from Reporting number.
E Raise a Siren alarm
(Yes/No)
By default this field is
set to Yes if application receives msm hang
message it will play loud siren and disable the phone completely &
display pre defined screen along with the above added details.
If this field is set to No Application will not play any siren even if it receives msm
hang message.
If this field is set to No in preview attack also it will not play any siren
5.3 Settings : Report
Settings
A. SMS reporting
(Yes/No)
By default this field is
set to Yes. If MSM is in theft/stolen mode, this feature will
send reporting of all messages received / sent on Stolen phone.
If this field is set to No Application will not send any reports of messages
received/sent, even if the phone is theft mode.
B. Calls reporting
(Yes/No)
By default this field is
set to Yes. If MSM is in theft/stolen mode, this feature will
send reporting of all the call received / made from Stolen phone.
If this field is set to No Application will not send any reports of the calls
received/sent, even if the phone is theft mode.
C. Contact added
reporting (Yes/No)
By default this field is
set to Yes. If MSM is in theft/stolen mode, this feature will
send reporting of New contact Stolen phone.
If this field is set to No Application will not send any reports of new contact added,
even if the phone is theft mode.
5.4 Settings : Lock
Settings
A. Hide
data:MemoryCard (Yes/No)
By default this field is
set to NO. If MSM is in theft/stolen mode, this feature will
not hide data from Memory card by default.
If this field is set to Yes. Application will hide all the data from Memory card
whenever application goes into theft mode.
B. Hide SMS in theft
mode
By default this field is
set to Yes. This will Hide all the messages from Inbox, Sent,
Draft, Favourites.
If this field is set to NO. then application will not hide all the messages from
Inbox, Sent, Draft, Favourites even if the phone is in theft/stolen
mode.
C. Hide contacts in
theft mode
By default this field is
set to Yes. This will Hide all the contacts from Phonebook if
phone is in theft mode.
If this field is set to NO. then application will not hide all the contact from
phonebook even if the phone is in theft/stolen mode.
D. Hide images in
theft mode
By default this field is
set to Yes. This will hide all the images from C:images folder.
If this field is set to NO. then application will not hide the images even if the
phone is in theft/stolen mode.
E. Hide videos in
theft mode
By default this field is
set to Yes. This will hide all the videos from C:Videos folder.
If this field is set to NO. then application will not hide the Videos even if the
phone is in theft/stolen mode.
5.5 Settings : Sim
List
By default MSM will show
one SIM number in the field. User can add SIM in SIM list manually.
Once the particular SIM
number is added in the sim list, Application will not go into
theft/stolen mode for that particular SIM number.
User can add multiple SIM
cards using this feature.
6. Preview Attack
Pre view attack will demonstrate the way
phone will behave in hang mode without
hanging the device.
7. Decrypt
Whenever MSM goes into
theft/stolen mode it encrypts all the contacts, images, messages.
To retrieve the entire
phone book in place click on Decrypt and this will retrieve all the
data in respective places.
Please be patient while
decryption is in the process.
